Music Program
Music and the arts are essential in the lives of children as they help their growth and integral development for a full and happy childhood. At BMS, exposing children to music appreciation and the arts is indispensable. These help stimulate language development, creativity and the development of socialization skills. In pre-school children receive music appreciation classes. From 1st through 4th grade, flute lessons and from 5th grade onwards guitar, piano and drums.
Sports Program
All levels receive physical education consisting of physical exercises, classes and swimming training in our swimming pool in an enclosed area with strict security measures. Starting in second grade, children receive basketball, soccer, and volleyball classes. In addition, these students have the opportunity to belong to our Competitive Sports Teams. Our sports teams are: Swimming: BLUE MARLINS. Basketball: LYNX, SOCCER TEAM LYNX and Volleyball: GLOW STARS or they can belong to the cheerleading team LYNX CHEERLEADERS.
Tutoring
Due to the need that many parents express when they arrive at BMS with their children, for their convenience, we have expanded our academic program to offer a tutoring program during the afternoons. This program has a fee of its own and is available to both internal and external BMS students. Tutoring is offered in the areas of Math, Spanish Language or English, and is available for grades Pre-First through 12th.
Extra Curricular
Our teams have a rigorous program of special training and conduct a variety of competitions, tournaments, presentations and exchanges throughout the school year.
The Basketball team has its ¨Cheerleaders¨ or cheerleading team. They receive training in Hip-Hop, gymnastics and modern dance classes. Our sports teams and Cheerleaders have special uniforms and distinctive team uniforms.
Our Music Band (BMS MUSIC BAND) and Choir (BMS CHOIR) are composed of our students, who perform throughout the school year.
